Dr Egg receives Inter-Arts grant

Dr Egg has been awarded the Inter-Arts New Work Grant to undertake research and creative development for interactive and visual elements of e-publication. The money from this will be used to create and original aesthetic, as conceived by director, Maia Horniak, and fund the development of an interactive storybook. Along with the funding awarded from the Literature Board, it’s all shaping up to be pretty egg-citing for Dr Egg Digital.

Dr Egg Digital now has a place to call home. As of today, we were awarded one of the inaugural City of Sydney Cultural Precinct Spaces at 66 Oxford Street, Darlinghurst. The Dr Egg team will be moving in over the coming weeks.

Australia Council awards Dr Egg Digital funding

The Literature Board of the Australia Council has awarded Dr Egg Digital the inaugural New Work: Digital and New Media Writing grant. These grants assist Australian writers and illustrators working in the digital space to create digital and new media works with a literary focus. Dr Egg Digital was awarded the grant for its clear and consistent story world, which is based of Catherine Fargher’s AWGIE award-winning theatre production Dr Egg and the Man with No Ear, which is set to tour nationally in 2012.
