Australia Council awards Dr Egg Digital funding

The Literature Board of the Australia Council has awarded Dr Egg Digital the inaugural New Work: Digital and New Media Writing grant. These grants assist Australian writers and illustrators working in the digital space to create digital and new media works with a literary focus. Dr Egg Digital was awarded the grant for its clear and consistent story world, which is based of Catherine Fargher’s AWGIE award-winning theatre production Dr Egg and the Man with No Ear, which is set to tour nationally in 2012. The grant requires the project to have an interactive element, with user-generated content or game-play.
